Terms of service

The short version: WasteOfSpace connects neighbors for local sales. We provide the app; the sales and the deals are between you and other people. There's no payment in the app — you pay in person. Be honest, be safe, and follow the law.

1. Who these terms are with

WasteOfSpace is operated by Lenud Technologies ("Lenud", "we", "us"). "You" means the person using the app. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use WasteOfSpace. Your privacy is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use WasteOfSpace

You must be at least 18 years old to use WasteOfSpace, because it involves arranging in-person meetings with other people. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you give us is accurate.

3. Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it. You can delete your account at any time from Me → Settings → Account → Delete account.

4. What WasteOfSpace is — and isn't

WasteOfSpace is a place to discover, list, and plan visits to local yard sales, estate sales, and pop-up markets. We are a listings and discovery service only. We are not a party to any sale. We don't own, inspect, guarantee, or take possession of any item, we don't process payments, and we're not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing or item. Any transaction is solely between the buyer and the seller.

5. Payments happen in person

There is no payment feature in the app. You arrange and complete payment directly with the other person, in person, however you both agree. A "hold" is simply a request a host may accept to set an item aside — it is not a purchase, a reservation fee, or a guarantee, and either person can walk away from it.

6. Buying & visiting sales

Listings are created by other users and may be inaccurate, change, or sell out before you arrive. Please use good judgment. When meeting someone, take normal safety precautions: meet during posted hours, bring someone if you can, and trust your instincts — you can decline any deal. You visit sales at your own risk.

7. Hosting a sale

If you host, you agree that: you have the right to sell the items you list; your listings and photos are accurate and not misleading; you'll honor your posted hours or update them; and you'll comply with all laws that apply to your sale, including any local permits, taxes, and rules for your area. Your exact address stays hidden until the morning of the sale, but once revealed you're responsible for your own property and safety.

8. Things you may not do

• List anything illegal, stolen, recalled, hazardous, or prohibited by law, or anything you're not allowed to sell (for example weapons, drugs, or live animals where restricted).
• Post false, misleading, infringing, or offensive content, or someone else's personal information.
• Harass, threaten, scam, or endanger other users.
• Scrape, copy, or misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or try to break its security.
• Use WasteOfSpace for anything other than genuine local buying, selling, and browsing.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or put others at risk.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of the listings, photos, and messages you create. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and share that content as needed to operate the app (for example, showing your listing to nearby users). You're responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

10. WasteOfSpace Pro & subscriptions

Some features are offered through a paid subscription, WasteOfSpace Pro. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings; refunds are handled under the app store's policies. We may change Pro's features or price with reasonable notice.

11. Third-party services

WasteOfSpace links to and works with services we don't control — such as your maps app for directions and a crawl route, and the App Store or Google Play for subscriptions. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

12. The app is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep WasteOfSpace useful and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or that listings will be accurate or that any item will be as described.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lenud Technologies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a transaction, interaction, or meeting between users, from any item, or from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to cover Lenud Technologies for claims and costs arising from your listings, your transactions, your conduct, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Termination

You can stop using WasteOfSpace and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or use the app in a way that harms others or us.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use WasteOfSpace after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
